Department/Research Field

Development of the acoustic device using functional material and comfort evaluation by a sound signal

Research content
I have been conducting research aimed at creating a new sound control system for the ultra-compact EV which improves the interior sound environment comfortability. In this study, I carry out fundamental consideration of multidisciplinary research by “electromagnetism”, “acoustics”, and “human engineering” based on acoustic control. Through research, students acquire the ability to create new things that have never existed before by combining various fields and study.

Research theme

Establishment of a manufacturing method for giant magnetostrictive materials using Tb, Dy, and Fe powders by the SPS method
A study on the effect of sound signals including 1/f fluctuation for comfortability
Experimental study on human comfort evaluation method by biological information measurement
